Here at the Ben's Army Headquarters in Loveland, Colorado, we put together some serious battle plans to empower and protect young people thru education, legislation and entertainment. We will use entertainment to change public attitudes.  We are leading the charge on legislative issues, initially in Colorado then nationwide,  which will provide stiffer penalties for child molesters and keep those who are out of prison from having access to kids.  We are also crafting legislation in the Domestic Violence realm. Additionally, we are available to speak to your adult group or student classroom about this vital topic of waging war against abuse. 

Like all wars, this one is unpleasant.  We have to deal with some pretty ugly stuff in order to stop this epidemic of violence against young people.  We are planning several parent and child sessions for the Fall of '05 to educate parents to "Think Like a Bodyguard"TM and teach practical thought processes and action steps to use in dangerous situations.  

The IRL (In Real Life) section of BensArmy.com will give you a glimpse of the harsh realities with which far too many children have to contend. For some, even a glimpse is too much.
